GRACE By Joy Titobiloluwa Adekanbi God loves us so much and there is no length He wouldn’t go to prove this. He sent His only son who is full of grace and truth to set us free from the shackles of the enemy of our souls. . . We have access to grace through faith in Christ Jesus and this is our leverage over the enemy. . . God is able to make all grace come in abundance to us, so that we may always have complete sufficiency in everything and have an abundance for every good work and act of charity 2Cor 9:8AMP. . . The grace of God is the medium through which we can do any good work. Leaders who want to do good works for others can only do so by the grace of God through faith in God. . . The solution to the malaise we are plagued with in our country Nigeria is that we have leaders who want to do good works but who don’t have faith in God. . . Even in this situation we have found ourselves, children of God have a leverage. We enjoy the grace of God through our faith in God. We trust a G

ANGER . . No one can upset us without our permission. Many times unknowingly we give room for others to manipulate us and then we get angry when they do. . . When we put our trust in humans instead of God and they let us down, we get angry. . . When we get angry at times, it is not about what someone did. It is about who did it. If any other person had done it, it wouldn’t have meant much but because the person who did it did it we get angry. . . The anger directed at the person who let us down makes us bitter and affect our relationship with others. . . Others get to pay for the sins of someone they have never met and they too get angry and a vicious cycle continues. . . Why not place our trust in God who cannot fail and who would never go back on his promises. . . When we place men in the position of God and see them as our all in all, they occupy a position in our hearts and influences us in ways that we cannot fathom. . . Humans will always be humans and God will always be God.

𝐅𝐄𝐀𝐑 Fear comes with guilt. It is the product of our inability to do that which we know is right. Fear comes with condemnation, the knowledge that we have just committed a sin. Fear comes when the devil deceives us that our sin is too big for God to forgive. Is that not why Jesus came to die? It is quite illogical for anyone to think there is a sin that cannot be forgiven. “Come now and let us reason together,” says the Lord. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be like wool Isaiah 1:18. Fear comes when we are ignorant of the power in the resurrection of Christ. When we are oblivious to what He procured through His death on the cross. God says these signs will accompany those who have believed: in my name they will cast out demons, they will speak in new tongues. They will pick up serpents and if they drink anything deadly, it will not hurt them. They will lay hands on the sick, and they will get well Mar

𝗟𝗔𝗭𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗦𝗦 It eats deeply into our minds the moment we presume that life will never end. We think we can always do it tomorrow, so we postpone what we should do today. What if tomorrow never comes. . . . What if we wake up one day and face the reality of what should have been but never was because we failed to value what we had but have now lost. . . . Tick tock says the clock and every minute counts. The little ones of yesterday have now become adults. A reality we refused to see because we lived in an illusion of instant gratification, the lie of many second chances, the thought that there is still time. . . . No wonder we while away time, thinking there will always be another chance to make things right. The right thing is left undone, while we focus on the things that will make us feel undone. . . . The resources we have today but fail to use may not suffice when we eventually realize that time has gone. . . . "𝙉𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨, 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙝𝙤𝙥𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙖

GUILT By Joy Titobiloluwa Adekanbi Guilt is the greatest tool the enemy of our souls uses to enslave we the children of God in our minds. . . . There is constantly a decision to make. We make thousands of decisions every day. The choice of what, where, how and when to do what. . . The devil, being a deceiver is constantly reminding us of why we do not deserve what. You say you want to live above sin, he says what about the one you did yesterday. . . He comes with another reason why he thinks what you did yesterday cannot be erased. But we know better. Jesus died once and for all and He says we are the righteousness of God in Christ. . . But here comes the devil who knows he has been condemned and wants companions on his journey. The devil says are you sure He died, were you there? Jesus gave the answer on our behalf before He left (ascended). He says cheer up, have faith, I have overcome the world. . . So when the enemy advances, we take up our shield of faith. When i

THE MARRIAGE OF THE LAMB By Joy Titobiloluwa Adekanbi The Bible says the life of the flesh is in the blood, therefore the life of Jesus is in His blood. Jesus, the lamb of God who took away the sin of the world. When His blood atoned for our sins, it empowered us to live the kind of life that Jesus lived. When His blood was shed, there was an exchange. We exchanged our life of sin, sorrow, lack and frustration for His life so that we become children of God. The life of a child of God is a life of freedom, blessings and salvation. The quality of our physical and that of our social life depend on the quality of our spiritual life. One aspect of our physical life is our health. Our social life includes our thinking pattern, behaviour and our relationship with others. Jesus entered into a covenant with God on our behalf through the shedding of His blood on the cross of calvary to save us from sin and its consequences. He literally gave us His life. We are married to the person or thing we
