FEAR

𝐅𝐄𝐀𝐑

Fear comes with guilt. It is the product of our inability to do that which we know is right. Fear comes with condemnation, the knowledge that we have just committed a sin.

Fear comes when the devil deceives us that our sin is too big for God to forgive. Is that not why Jesus came to die? It is quite illogical for anyone to think there is a sin that cannot be forgiven.

“Come now and let us reason together,” says the Lord. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be like wool Isaiah 1:18.

Fear comes when we are ignorant of the power in the resurrection of Christ. When we are oblivious to what He procured through His death on the cross.

God says these signs will accompany those who have believed: in my name they will cast out demons, they will speak in new tongues. They will pick up serpents and if they drink anything deadly, it will not hurt them. They will lay hands on the sick, and they will get well Mark 16:17.

Fear comes when we are ignorant of how much God loves us. He says we are the apple of His eyes. He says He has loved us with an everlasting love.

This Ignorance makes us run into wrong hands when we are in distress. A child of God who is aware of God’s love will bask in it not only when the going is good but also when the going gets tough.

Oh what manner of love that God has bestowed on us that we should be called His children. We are bold. We are courageous. We are royalty.
