THE MARRIAGE OF THE LAMB

The Bible says the life of the flesh is in the blood, therefore the life of Jesus is in His blood. Jesus, the lamb of God who took away the sin of the world. When His blood atoned for our sins, it empowered us to live the kind of life that Jesus lived.


When His blood was shed, there was an exchange. We exchanged our life of sin, sorrow, lack and frustration for His life so that we become children of God. The life of a child of God is a life of freedom, blessings and salvation.


The quality of our physical and that of our social life depend on the quality of our spiritual life. One aspect of our physical life is our health. Our social life includes our thinking pattern, behaviour and our relationship with others.


Jesus entered into a covenant with God on our behalf through the shedding of His blood on the cross of calvary to save us from sin and its consequences. He literally gave us His life.


We are married to the person or thing we give our hearts to. When we ladies get married to a man, he influences all aspects of our lives and vice-versa.


We give our hearts to people we call friends, family and acquaintances. Family can be biological or spiritual (preferably Christ-like people). Things stand for material possession or a position of authority.


When we submit to a child of God, we submit to God. A woman who submits to a child of the devil submits to the devil. Marriage is the greatest form of covenant that can exist between a man and his wife.


Remember, an exchange takes place. We exchange our kind of life for their kind of life. When we see anything in the life of a person or thing, and we don’t want a manifestation of it in our lives, we shouldn’t give our hearts to that person or thing. 


We should marry a lamb, not a kid. We only live once, choose wisely.

RELATIONSHIP CORNER 5.O 14-04-2020 "BEYOND THE VEIL"  The veil is a net with which the face of the bride is covered on the wedding day. The veil is only needed on the wedding day, it doesn't go beyond that day. The covering of the bride on the d day is a customary process a bride goes through. There may be more than one significance for the opening of veil on the wedding day. For me, it is the crossing over from courtship to marriage. When the groom opens up the veil to behold the bride, new realities are opened up unto them.  Beyond, the veil are the realities of marriage, the way of life and the operations in marriage. Let me quickly drive home this point, what is obtainable in marriage depends on the relationship of the individuals involved with God on a personal level. ANGER . . No one can upset us without our permission. Many times unknowingly we give room for others to manipulate us and then we get angry when they do. . . When we put our trust in humans instead of God and they let us down, we get angry.  . . When we get angry at times, it is not about what someone did. It is about who did it. If any other person had done it, it wouldn’t have meant much but because the person who did it did it we get angry. . . The anger directed at the person who let us down makes us bitter and affect our relationship with others.  . . Others get to pay for the sins of someone they have never met and they too get angry and a vicious cycle continues. . . Why not place our trust in God who cannot fail and who would never go back on his promises. . .  When we place men in the position of God and see them as our all in all, they occupy a position in our hearts and influences us in ways that we cannot fathom. . . Humans will always be humans and God will always be God.
