Perequisites For God's Direction

As believers, we are an extension of God's kingdom here on earth. We are here to establish His will.

"Thy will be done on earth, even as it is in even." (Mathew 6:10)

The bible says that the path of the righteous is as a shinning light, shining brighter and brighter unto the perfect day.

The righteous journeys on straight paths, full of Light. The bible says that God is Light and in Him is no darkness. So, Light marks the righteous.

Who are the righteous? The believers. We are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. We exist to shine the Light of Christ everywhere we go. We exist to do the will of the Father, not our own plans.

God made us for His pleasure. "Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created." (Revelations 4:11).

If only believers will take in this truth and live in this reality, we will become more successful in our walk with God and we will glorify God more in all our works.

When we live with the consciousness that all that we are and will ever be is in God, ("For in Him we live and move and have our being." Acts 17:28), we will prioritize His leading and His view in all things.

But how often we trust in our own ability, in our own ideas about how things should be and we neglect the leading of the Spirit or more often, we do not give patience to wait for His word over every matter.

Some believers fall into errors because they haven't prioritize hearing God and doing nothing but His will.

For every problem you encounter, there are one thousand and one ways to solve the problem. But there is God's way of solving the problem.

According to a man of God, "The last is not heard until God speaks"

Just like God will not pour His anointing upon a straying colt, but the colt tied up for His use, and God will not use an arrow flying around, but an arrow in His quiver, and He will definitely not recruit a church goer, but Jesus' disciples, there are certain believers He gives direction to.

No scripture mirrors it better than Proverbs 3:5-6.

5. Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;

6. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

👉TRUST IN THE LORD

"They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever." Psalm 125:1

“You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD GOD is an everlasting rock.” -(Isaiah 26:3-4).

The fear of man lays a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD is safe.” -Proverbs 29:25

“The LORD is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults,

and with my song I give thanks to him.” -(Psalm 28:7).

"Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God." Psalm 20:7

Trusting in the Lord with all your heart is resting totally on God, total dependence on Him no matter what comes, being at peace and still in His presence, knowing fully well that He is working behind the scene and your victory is sure.

It means absolutely surrendering to God in all things, no alternative, it's either God or God.

Knowing that we have nothing of ourselves to win any battle, but our victory is in the Lord.

Knowing that God has your best interest in mind and will not allow a temptation more than what you can bear to come to come to you.

Meaning as long as that temptation comes to you, you have divine strength to overcome. It came to you because you have been specially equipped to overcome it.

You have all it takes to overcome that temptation you have been falling into, you have been trusting in yourself to overcome to no avail, open up to the supernatural strength of God within you. The Holy Spirit is ever present.

👉LEAN NOT ON YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING.

Adam and Eve fell in the garden of Eden and had no idea of how to restore what they lost. Because of this the whole world sinned and had no idea how to come out the bondage of sin.

Man remained under the torment of sin until God showed up through His only begotten Son, Jesus.

Jesus did not save us to live unto ourselves but for God. The understanding of man is too shallow to capture spiritual realities, it is too crippled to capture the will of God.

As believers we must rise up to the level where the word of God superimposes our ideology and bring us up to God's standard of operation.

God's word is His standard. Do not lean on your own understanding.

How God wants His glory to rest upon us and extraordinary fits won through us, powerful outcomes that can never be generated in human power. Results that only God can generate through a man and flows that only the God's Spirit can breathe.

But, how many are saying, Lord I do not have any understanding apart from the insight you supply. The faster we realise that we have nothing except that which God gives, the more we will be useful in this end time.

I want to digress a little bit...

Many people generate there own physical features of whom to marry and are bent on following their mind even at the expense of God's direction and at the detriment of their own sanity. Do not lean on your own understanding!

👉AKNOWLEDGE HIM IN ALL YOUR WAYS

To aknowledge means to reverence, honour and let God have His rightful place in your heart. God at the centre of it all!

God is the Lord in and over your life, from the core of you, let worship rise to Him.

When you aknowledge God, being in His presence will be a life that you live, not just an act once in a while.

Have no divided attention, do not keep any aspect of your life from Him, laying your ways bear before Him true and true.

We are in the time where many claim to acknowledge God, but they are no

t a lover of His presence. They teach it, but don't practice His presence.

We repent of this today.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path.

This is the prerequisite for receiving God's direction in any area of your life.
