Becoming a Woman of Godly Character

Becoming a Woman of Godly Character

Character is powerful! Your character defines you and speaks volumes about you, even in your absence. It is one of the most important things that we have, we must invest positively in it.

Romans 5:3-5 – “More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces ENDURANCE, and endurance produces CHARACTER, and character produces HOPE, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the HOLY SPIRIT who has been given to us."

Jesus already told us that we will face trials and temptations.

Our sufferings will produce endurance.

I want to ask you, what are you going through presently? what are the challenges posing threat to your faith? What are the situations provoking you to compromise? What do you want that you don't have that want to make you run to the world and run back to faith?

I bring the word of the Lord to you, please ENDURE.

It is just for now, we have overcome the world, for greater is He that lives in us.

"Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ" (2 Timothy 2:2)

Every great woman you see today did not become great by chance, of course, greatness does not come by chance. They endured hardship, staying through and faithful no matter the situation.

Many times the devil brings some hard situations to tempt us, and God allows them in order to prove us and check our heart, if indeed we love God.

Remember He will never allow you to be tempted beyond what you can endure. With every temptation comes the way out.

Once we are able to endure, character is formed within us, integrity, honesty, courage, loyalty, fortitude, and other important virtues that promote good living.

Coming out of every situation stronger is the will of God for us.

That is when you will have a message for your generation.

When godly character is formed in our heart, it becomes a life that we live, therefore HOPE is established in us. We become women full of hope in God alone. It is either God or God, no alternative, anything that negates this must give way. Is this your desire, great women?

Do you know the beautiful thing about HOPE? Hope does not put us to shame!

Christ in us, the hope of glory!

Show me one man who rested in God, and got disgraced, Show me a man that God had put to shame before? Show me!

We saw the likes of Paul, and our fathers in faith. We saw the likes of Esther and Deborah and other great women like Kulman of blessed memory, we know of Elizabeth George, Priscilla Shirer, Gloria Bamiloye, Funke Adejumo, the list is endless.

Those who passed through fire and have come out as gold!

Hope does not put us to shame because 'THE LOVE OF GOD IS SHED ABROAD IN OUR HEART BY THE HOLY SPIRIT' which has been given to us.

Here is the crux of the matter, we are DIVINELY helped, great women. The love of God is impacted in us by the HolyGhost, He makes it easy.

If I were you, what will be my desire now is to know this Holy Spirit deeply, to have a deeper relationship, to be helped by Him, to be instructed and guided by Him, I want Him to hold my hands, because when He does, everything becomes possible.

I tell you what, HOLY SPIRIT is EVERYTHING!

A deeper walk with you, Oh Lord we pray!

Just speak to Him, Holy Spirit, I want you, I need you more than ever before. I have been keeping distance, I want a closer walk.

"But the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and will bring to your remembrance all the things which I have said to you". John 14:26.

How do you embark on a journey and throw away the only teacher that you have. He has been given to us. He is the promise of the father. We received Him at new birth. So, you have Him, listen to Him.

Involve the HolySpirit in whatever decision you want to make.

The best solution lies with Him.

The evidence that we have a relationship with the Spirit of God is that we produce His fruits. Yes, your root must grow downward and your fruits grow upward.

Galatians 5:22-23 – “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law."

If you have all these embedded in you, then you are a great woman and a woman of enviable character.

I call you blessed!
