MEN WHO ARE NOT ASHAMED OF THEIR FEEDING BOTTLES AND HOW TO ESCAPE THEM

Image
"Haven't you read," he replied, "that at the beginning the Creator 'made them male and female,' and said, 'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh'? So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate." Mathew 19: 4-6. It is of great importance to note that God is intentional about marriage, it isn't a wishy-washy idea that we can manipulate our way into. It is not what you rush into, just to check how it is and then rush out when you are not seeing what you expect.  The two shall become one flesh. We need to understand deeply this statement. I believe taking in this will guide and prevent us from falling prey to the enemy's trap.  Can two walk together except they agree? Sharing the same birthday date, Bearing the same first name, Both of you having dimples or gap in the front teeth does not necess...

RELATIONSHIP CORNER 6.0 15-04-2020 God created us for fellowship. He created us in His image and in His likeness to restore the connection we lost in the garden of Eden. He gave us His only begotten son to die on the cross of calvary. He was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities, the punishment that brought us peace was on him and by his wounds we are healed.  Jesus bore all the pain, the shame, the disgrace, the low life apportioned to us and he said "it is finished". He wrote the examination and gave us the result (victory) to claim as ours. Sweet Jesus, thank you.  "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life" Jesus said in John 8: 12. We need divine light to walk right here on earth.  Jesus is this Light, He is the Mr Right! Without a date with Mr Right, a date with your destiny cannot be guaranteed.  Without a date with Mr Right...

RELATIONSHIP CORNER 5.O 14-04-2020 "BEYOND THE VEIL"  The veil is a net with which the face of the bride is covered on the wedding day. The veil is only needed on the wedding day, it doesn't go beyond that day. The covering of the bride on the d day is a customary process a bride goes through. There may be more than one significance for the opening of veil on the wedding day. For me, it is the crossing over from courtship to marriage. When the groom opens up the veil to behold the bride, new realities are opened up unto them.  Beyond, the veil are the realities of marriage, the way of life and the operations in marriage. Let me quickly drive home this point, what is obtainable in marriage depends on the relationship of the individuals involved with God on a personal level. When the personal level is taken care of, then, the joint level will be glorious.  That is why the Bible says: do not be unequally yoked with an unbeliever, for what has d...

RELATIONSHIP CORNER 4.0 OH! I SEE LIGHT  13-4-2020 Bisi walked into the courtyard sluggishly, she had been thinking about the series of events that had occurred in her life. She is left with two choices, either say yes to bro Tunde who promised her of a better tomorrow or accept Barrister James. According to James, he wants the wedding plans to commence as soon as possible, as he would travel out of the country together with bisi shortly after the wedding. James attends an Anglican Church beside his house, he is an easy going man, Bisi resolved.  Tunde is a man of great vision,  he is sound and every of his words portray godliness plus contentment equals to great gain. "When will this great vision come to pass,  and how", Bisi asked Tunde. "I am not a lazy man, God has revealed many things about tomorrow and I am excited following His instructions". "God said I should work in this primary school for now, He said He needs me here for the n...

RELATIONSHIP CORNER 3.0 12-4-20 "Build on a sure foundation" "If the foundation be destroyed, what can the righteous do"?  The foundation of a relationship/marriage is the ground upon which it is built, the ideology that provokes it's operations.  "For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ" I Cor. 3:11. The foundation of a house determines it's longetivity. A faulty foundation can claim the lives of those inhabiting such house. It is important that attention is given to this, to avert disastrous ending.  We have heard cases of marriages that did not last two months, even two weeks. Yet, they claimed they loved each other, but within two weeks the love disappeared. Where is Christ in this? The foundation you are laying is very important, don't use fake materials because you are in a rush to move in, or because you want to impress others, a gigantic building cannot stand on a...

RELATIONSHIP CORNER 2.0 11-04-2020 "What a beautiful saturday!"  "This is the day that the Lord has made", Jane exclaimed as she entered the bath tube. "I will rejoice and be glad in it", she finished the line, her face beaming with smiles. The expression on her face connotes peace, joy and contentment. On this faithful day, Jane would be saying yes, 'I do' in some couple of hours. This moment she has to herself in the bathtub seems golden to her, and a reflecting moment so to say. After now,  she dresses up and off to church, from church to her new home.  She is grateful to God especially and to everyone that has been a part of her life till this moment. Ooops! There she goes, teardrops rolling down her face, seems beautiful on her face though. She is a beautiful lady, even the blind knows, and her heart for God is big, making her an exceptional breed.  Jane wiped off the tears and finally said, "I am grateful Lord,...

RELATIONSHIP CORNER 1.0 10-04-2020 "Social media likes syndrome" Tejumade opened the front door of her apartment and there stood before her, her bosom friend, Jumoke. "You must be in the spirit, I was still about knocking," Jumoke exclaimed. Jumoke couldn't attend her best friend's wedding, it was so painful, but what could she do, her convocation was on the same date, her parents wouldn't allow her miss it for any reason. She is here today to get all the gist from the horse's mouth.  Tejumade: "I was expecting you in the evening". Jumoke: "Yea, my plans changed, what of hubby?"  Tejumade: "He has gone to work".  Jumoke: "So, Tejumade, can I see the pictures?" Tejumade reached for the shelf at one corner of the room and brought out the wedding photo book. Jumoke collected the photo book and both of them flipped through it.  "Wow! These are nice pictures, when are ...

Relationship Corner 8.0 Only a spirit-controlled man will say sorry to his wife and mean it, even when the fault isn't his. It takes a woman of quiet spirit to submit when her opinion is not bought. Not just doing this once in a while, but consistently.  There are many christian homes, but there are many inconsistent couples in many christian home. It takes consistency to maintain peace and serenity in our relationships.  Giving all, not because of what you want to get in return, but because we have life (ZOE) in us and lighten up everywhere. How will you be in the same house with an unhappy human and you are fine and minding your business? We are the salt of the earth, the light of the world, we draw and drink from the word of God daily, we do not live by bread alone. Joy in the Holy Ghost is a confirmation of His presence. Not just within you, it flows outward. "When joy is missing, the strength upon which your home moves will be ...

Relationship Corner 7.0 I still remember vividly how I had always wished that Damilola Mike-Bamiloye would see me in his dream.  Each time I saw a Mount Zion movie then, I get the message of the movie which is always spiritually enriching, but I also had this Damilola's thought in my head.  Imagine Damilola coming to Ondo State in search of me. I wished God would just give him specific information about me to him, my name, my location, my physical description and all sort.  I wouldn't have bordered to pray, my head 'don' better be that, I had great interest in drama then. One plus one will just become one 'sharperly', no wasting of time.  Fast-forward many years later, if he comes now to propose to me, like an open check, you know what I mean, I will never give an affirmative response. I have grown to understand that marriage is beyond getting hooked up with a celebrity; marriage is beyond fantasizing and unreasonable imagination. ...

Relationship Corner 6.0 Divine inspiration is vital in our love life. It makes love beautiful and keeps both party expectant. Your relationship is unique and not to be compared with any, so also unique and variety of experiences. You don't need a million naira to put a smile on the face of your partner always. You need divine inspiration. Big money can buy big things that are not timely and may not be appreciated, while divine inspiration can produce that exact thing, it may be small though, but meets a specific immediate need. Trust divine inspiration for your love life. A timely text message can make it seem you just gave out a car key.  Timely calls are big and can be forever appreciated. Openness and sincerity is big and magnanimous. Money is essential, but not all things answer to money. Trust is one! Appreciate the contributions of one another and greatly esteem one another.  You are on your way to the desired end. Capture the moments....

Relationship Corner 5.0 BEYOND FEELINGS =============== If you carry grace and the anointing of God, please don't end up in the hand of a spouse that doesn't value what you carry. It is dangerous! This can lead to the extinction of that forseen glory. Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces. Whatever is given to pig ends up in the mud, it can't value a pearl because it can't comprehend it's worth. Don't be in a hurry to be called Mrs. or Mr. Once you enter, you enter. There are times you go to market to buy clothes, without even testing them, but by just looking at it, you know it's not your size. Also, remember those times you assumed it is your size and you got home and realized it's your younger sister's size. Probably the cloth looked so attractive, and you bought it by faith, praying it will siz...

Relationship Corner 4.0 Don't depend on your partner for what only the HolySpirit can give to you. This can be overbearing for any human. It only leaves us frustrated, angry and depressed. No matter how you look up to him, he is incapacitated and unable to supply that need. God does not have grand children. We are joint-heirs with Christ. Don't make connecting to the Holy Spirit through him a habit. Ask your own questions from the Holy Spirit and get direct responses, it gives stability and confidence. Create an atmosphere of God's presence and flow in it. And be confident about every response you get. Depending so much on him all the time makes you feel you need to confirm from him before accepting that what God just told you is true. Be married to the word of God and see the mind of God for yourself. Our spiritual brother sir, push her to work and let her be independent and wholly dependent on the Holy Spirit. Give her room to ...

Relationship Corner 3.0 I know quite a number of sisters struggle with submission even in a godly relationship (even the HolyGhost filled and fire producing ones; forget about pulpit for now) and many brothers can't simply put up with this. She is the one for you, you are very sure of that, but what is this obnoxious character about? If she can't submit to me now, how will she submit in marriage. The sister is always like, "The bible says wives, (not intending wives) submit to your husbands (not intending husband) in the Lord. So, when we get married, you will get all the submission you need. So, you have resolved to anger, you argue over so many things and both of you are becoming tired of the relationship already. Brother, you have started reporting her to your friends and even your Mum and both of you are beginning to think you didn't hear God clearly. Our spiritual brother sir, if she were to be one of your mentees, will you give up o...

Relationship corner 2.0 Boo: I am getting you this handbag, it will sure look good on you. Bae: Awwwn... Thanks darling, but hold on, this bag is way too expensive. I know how much you have on you, there will be close to nothing left. Boo: Yes I know, God will provide. Bae: Yes He will, but just keep the desire burning in you. I know you can go any length to express your love for me, that time of abundance in coming. The bags I have are still good enough. ***************************** Don't get it twisted sisters, you can be in a God-ordained relationship in which you are the one working and you are trusting God for your partner's job. For if the willingness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has,  not according  to what one does not have. The desire is not that he is hard pressed while you are relieved and vice versa. At some points, your plenty will supply what he needs, and at another time, his plenty will supply ...

Relationship corner 1.0 The devil is scheming against God ordained relationship, causing confusion and inflicting pain through the spirit of comparison. God is strategic and specific about that relationship He has put together, don't scatter things because of your rationalization. Never think that God made a mistake, probably because, some of your human expectations are yet to start materializing. God saw the end from the beginning and chose that particular sister/brother. To hell with the Spirit of comparison, that low self-esteem nature that makes you compare your relationship with another, and makes you talk down your partner because she doesn't have yet, a quality you saw in another sister/brother. The devil wants us to belittle the contributions of one another, to see them as insignificant, but, he has failed already. Now we know better not to judge our lives using another man's journey, to value the treasure God has placed in our hands a...
