BRING OUT THE GOLD IN YOU


When Gold is covered with clay, people will give it the recognition clay deserves, but when the clay is taken off and the gold becomes visible, the honour doubles. 

Those who have walked past it, on their way back will change their approach. They can't remember what it used to be, but everyone will surely recognize what it is now. 

Well, Gold might have felt bad, angry, depressed, left out, rubbished, empty, irrelevant, not appreciated, it had no place, nothing to offer, a biological accident, no reason to live, unwanted, unloved, not recognized. Hmmmm, the list is endless.

Obviously, gold doesn't know it's value. It doesn't know how much the world is in need of its impact. It doesn't know it carries riches, neither does it know that it's contribution is capable of turning the world around for the best. 

Gold doesn't know that the nations are to come to the brightness of its rising. It's glaring gold has not discovered it's purpose.

Now, there are things God will never do for us, but we earnestly need His help to do them. 

Discovering your purpose is your responsibility but not without the help of God, because the owner of a thing determines it's use. You can't discover the purpose of a thing outside of the Creator.

Gold decided to go back to its creator, entered into a deep relationship with the creator, gave it's all to the relationship, became lost in His assignments, gave attention to His heart beat, loved Him more than life.

He then found his place in the kingdom, his identity in Christ, he discovered he is light and meant to shine the light in the darkness of this world, and as he looked into the word of life and caught what is written concerning him, the clay dropped off.

As gold began to live according to God's plan and purpose, his living became purposeful, no longer given to chance.

His language changed from 'whatever will be will be' to 'I live for God consciously, I live for His glory, for His praise, I impact lives, I do the works of Jesus'.

Are you this gold or should we look for someone else?
