VESSELS UNTO HONOUR ARE MADE: A FUNCTION OF PROGRESSIVE GROWTH BY ADEDIRE ADEKANBI

A vessel is a container of liquid, such as glass, goblet, cup, bottle, bowl, or pitcher. What a vessel is able to carry or what it carries, depends largely on the vessel itself, its state and configuration. A broken pitcher cannot retain whatever is put in it. It does not have the capacity to do so.

Certain vessels are often designed to carry specific things, they are designed with regards to what they are made to carry. When the right vessel is serving its specific purpose, there is maximal output.

There are vessels we buy in the market for domestic usage, there are one we buy for honorable purposes such as serving the King, honorable personalities. You don’t find such vessels on the floor at any corner in the Kitchen. The vessel get honor based on the purpose its serving.

Coming higher now, vessels unto honor are people who have submitted themselves to God to be made and prepared unto every good work. 

Now, these type of vessels are not bought, they are made. Godly  virtues are not monetary, it is a function of progressive growth. And once made, you don’t just find them anywhere but in places of honor glorifying God with their lives in every way.

It is a conscious effort of surrendering to God's dealing without holding anything back. Exposing every aspect of your life to the tutelage of the Holy Spirit. Handing over your life to God to mold, your mind to be transform and your will conformed to His own.

God's word becomes your priority and as you stay on it, you are transformed into the same image. As you pray and fellowship with your lover (God), old habits are shed off, a new you appears, just as your father wants it.

And then you come forth shining, radiating and reflecting His Glory. You come forth dressed, refined, renewed, empowered, bold, spiritually gorgeous and fleshed up, beautifully decorated and attractive.

What can be more beautiful? Releasing your life to be made a vessel prepared to carry God and carry His presence indeed. A life worth living, I tell you, the sacrifice is worth it.

Vessels unto dishonor are for ignoble purposes, not giving glory to God, but fully on ground for any form of assignment from the flesh and the father of lies.  But then, these vessels can be transformed into vessels of honor by surrendering to Jesus for total cleansing, turning from darkness to Light.

Father cleanse us, mold us, break us, renew us, build us, fill us. Make us a living sacrifice.
