GOD IS SO SPECIFIC ABOUT YOUR DESTINY JUST LIKE NOAH’S ARK

“This is how you are to build it: The ark is to be three hundred cubits long, fifty cubits wide and thirty cubits high. Make a roof for it, leaving below the roof an opening one cubit high all around. Put a door in the side of the ark and make lower, middle and upper decks.” Genesis 6:15-16.

God is specific about every creature on the face of the earth, human inclusive. He is a God of purpose and detailed description.

Out of the multitude who tarry to inquire from God about their destinies, we have some who listen patiently and follow wholeheartedly, we also have those who listen hurriedly and also follow the limited information received dogmatically and they end up celebrating uncompleted assignments and half-baked success.

I understand we live in a generation where people wants to see the result now! So we are all in a rat race to please people around us. We are so much under pressure that we have lost sight of heaven’s pattern. Our attention is now fully on what man will say,  competing and comparing as fools would.

We have forgotten that each man's life assignment is so detailed, specific, cannot be confused with someone else’s.

The reason why you can’t marry the kind of man Bola married and you can’t start the kind of ministry Uncle Sesan has is because each man has his own part to follow.

The last portion of Hebrews 12:1 says, “…and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us”.

Do you remember those days in secondary school when prefects mark out portions for you to clear on the field? You don’t clear it half way and tell the prefect you are done. It’s even difficult to get someone to help you clear because everyone else have there own portions to clear. Everyone is busy!

In fact, if you leave your own portion and jumped on another man's lane to help him, you will realize that after everyone is through and ready to receive approval, your portion is still there waiting for you, untouched.

You have your own part marked out for you to walk in it, the earlier we realize the better. So, let's do the listening patiently and get our part convincingly and then launch out with confidence.

In as much as we know that we are not running to get a crown that will not last, but we run to get a crown that will last forever. It is expedient we do not run aimlessly or fight as those beating the air.

Thus says the Lord: Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things about your destiny that you do not know.

Nevertheless, don’t forget that “the secret of the Lord is with them that fear Him” Psalm 25:14.
