WE ARE FRAIL BUT FOR HIS SPIRIT BY ADEDIRE ADEKANBI

WE ARE FRAIL BUT FOR HIS SPIRIT BY ADEDIRE ADEKANBI

FRAIL means Easily broken, mentally or physically fragile, not firm, or durable, liable to fail and perish, easily destroyed, not tenacious of life; weak, infirm. Liable to fall from virtue or be led into sin, not strong against temptation weak in resolution, unchaste.

Someone wrote: It is scary to realize you are not in control, until you realize that God has perfect control. It’s actually a relief to find out you don’t have to work so hard to keep it all together.

We will fail and fail again without the help of the Holy Spirit. We are fragile, weak, void of strength, we can’t do good, can’t make right decisions, we obviously can’t think right without Him.

We will fall into temptations again and again and again! For the weakness of man takes the lead without the help of God's Spirit.

We are too frail to command results, we will amount to nothing, live for nothing, work for nothing, and labor in vain  if God's Spirit does not take the lead.

We can make a name for ourselves without Him but we can’t make genuine impact without Him. If we rush out without Him, we will rush in frustrated, used, and miserable.

Our slippery footsteps will slide and right to the ground we will fall without Him.

We must depend on Him totally, stay connected and acknowledge our lack of strength, acknowledge that we are frail, that we need Him desperately, and also seek Him desperately.

Let us plug into His strength and divine supplies, let us release our lives as a medium for Him to flow through. Let us do away with everything that will keep Him off. Let us create a conducive environment for Him to operate. Let us yield to Him!

We can’t do it all on our own, so let's stop trying. Accept God’s gift of grace with thanksgiving and let His power cover your weakness.

“For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him” Phil2:13.
