WISE UP AND TAKE CHARGE

Few months into the relationship, you shifted your attention from God to brother and has suddenly become an idol you worship with your life.

When bible study clashes with outing with brother, you gladly prefer to go with brother. You even give him excuses why it's not necessary you attend service, you were like 'I have always been attending, this one time of absenteeism will not kill. But you have done the same severally after then.

In fact, you always enjoy praying with him and studying bible with him. Your own personal altar has shut down.

This your change in priority is sudden and alarming. What happened to you? Who did this to you sister?

Personal fellowship with God has been replaced with fellowship with brother. You have left the creator to worship His creature.

In fact, you call brother first before morning devotion, and you are like 'I just want to hear your voice'. Do you think this is what God wants for you?

Thank God for this relationship, we know that you love bro so much. But, the fact that you now have a brother in your life does not mean your fire should go down, it should rather intensify.

Well, maybe you think you have what you need and the time to relax has come, or you think brother is hyper- spiritual and his spirituality will automatically cover your own spiritual laxity.

Wake up sister, they that know their God shall be strong and do exploit, not they that hide under the coverage of their husband.

Don't close down your spiritual life, don't leave high up there to come down because you've found love.
Once you loose the higher love, you lose everything. Are you in God because of a man?

God has messages for you personally, He has a mandate for your life, you have a spiritual role to play over your life, family and ministry.

You can also hear God for your family, your husband, children and in whatever capacity God wants you to affect your generation positively.
