WE ARE FAST LOSING PATIENCE AND WE MUSTN'T

Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God, the bible says.

But we now have our own version which says, “Faith cometh by hearing and hearing through African magic and every other time wasting mediums”.

You know, that is why we have much of weaklings and crippled Christians because they have neglected the weightier matters. Christians who cannot endure or withstand little pressure. The word of God is no longer our standard.

For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scripture and the encouragement they provide, we might have hope.

My pain is that, there are many born again Christians in this generation who cannot stand pressure, cheap things easily bring us down. Why? Because we have neglected the Word of God which is able to build us up and give us inheritance among those who are sanctified.

We are easily brought to our knees, we quickly lie on our backs, we easily pull of our skirts, zip down our trousers, give bribes, bow down to other gods, because of that admission, you are in a hurry to get that job, you want to be a grandmother, you want to change your status, wedding on your mind, you want to be known quickly.

We are fast losing this virtue called “PATIENCE”. My brother, please go back to the Word. My sister, please go back to the Word. There in lies answers to every questions of life, give diligence to study of the word.

Read of the patriarchs of old, how they through endurance and strong faith in God made remarkable impact in their generation. Read of Abraham, David, Daniel, Gideon...

If Joseph had zipped down his trouser and slept with Mrs Portiphar, his destiny would have been shattered and his fulfilment will be cutoff. 

Yes, he was going through hard times, but he never allowed it to define him. He was patient with God and didn't allow the cheap things of the moment to rid him of the glory that was to be revealed in him.

Yes, the suffering of today is nothing to be compared with the glory ahead, don't abort the process, be patient, don't relent now, your testimony is around the corner. You shall testify.

“Let patience/have her perfect work that you may be perfect and entire”

“Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything” James 1:4.
