WE ARE THE TRIUMPHANT PEOPLE BY ADEDIRE ADEKANBI

If you look at the company of Jesus, his disciples, the twelve, you will realize that they were weak and beggarly people, unworthy and unqualified men, people the world would regard as not having any good to give out. ‘No good can come out of you', I believe was what they heard constantly from people.

But this were the very set of men that attracted Jesus, this is deep, I tell you! No wonder 2 Cor 4:7 says, “but we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us”.

This is getting interesting, look at this, We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. Is this natural and normal? No way, because the law of natural process has been defied.

The scripture above is the results weak and beggarly people get when they are yielded to God and this in turn shows to the world that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. For ordinarily, we are not near it, for we are weak in ourselves, but glory to Yahweh.

Blessed are the eyes that see what you see, because the kings on the earth, the highly placed wants to see it but are not permitted to see and know what you see and know. For they think they should see and know it by the virtue of their class and position, but alas! It is only permitted to be seen by those who climb from their position and class and submit totally to Jesus.

We are the triumphant, for despite our weaknesses, the strength of God by His Spirit is at work in us. We are the victorious and we do not take this grace for granted.
