Your past does not define you and does not determine your future. Breaking from the past is one thing that seems hard. But then, it is key to our breaking forth!

Don’t allow your past to build a stronghold in your mind, it will only end up hindering you from seeing the potentials in you.

The devil confronts us with our past in order to scare us off and prevent us from possessing that glorious future. 

The aim of the devil is to relegate us in our mind, to distort our vision and make us see nothing coming out of us.

My friend, that's a BLACKMAIL, you are LOADED and ANOINTED, there is GREATNESS in you!

The best revenge you can give the devil is to achieve what he thought you won’t be able to achieve.

I don’t know how bitter your past experiences were, and I don’t care how dirty your past is, all I can see now is you emerging as a shining light. 

I see you turning your MESS into a MESSAGE that your generation will eternally be grateful for. I see you fulfilling purpose and climbing the ladder of greatness.

When the devil confronts you with your past, confront the devil with the realities of God's word. You are a royal priesthood, a chosen generation, a holy nation, a peculiar people says the word of God. 

Ask Joseph, his past was filled with bitterness, disappointment, sorrow, pain, hatred, slavery and all manner of unplanned occurrences. 

He was a long expected child, he lost his mum at a tender age, he fell out of favor outrightly with his own brothers, he was sold into slavery by his own people. He got a share of what house hold wickedness means!

In spite all odds, he pictured himself in the light of God's word and he climbed the ladder of greatness to a height nobody ever attained in his lineage.

So, view your life through the ocular lens of God's word. Let the word of God define you, not your past. 

I see the sun rise over the horizon, I see your footprints on the sands of time.

I challenge you, dust off your past, breathe in some fresh air, set new goals and pursue them with your all. Believe me, the sky is your starting point.
