YOUR MOTIVE IS NOT HIDDEN AS YOU THINK

So, Holy ghost filled brother, you started praying in the spirit when that sister was passing because you want her to know that you are on fire too o. 

You intentionally started a conversation that will make people know you were the one who swept the church last week Sunday.

You used that particular analogy to make people aware of your achievements. You asked that your name be announced including the amount you are donating for the building project

You got angry because the parish pastor did not commend your effort so far.

You find it easy to run head over heels when people are around than when no one is around. You led praise and worship reluctantly because the church is yet to be filled with members.

You deliberately mentioned that your younger sister is married because you want people to know you are not a small child. The motive defines the end result

Motive can be defined as the driving force behind your actions. I call it the MIND behind an action. God sees through our hearts, which is saying that our motives are not hidden from God.

The motive of man can be so hidden. No one knows the mind of a man except the Spirit of that man, but don’t forget that the Holy Spirit searcheth all things, even the deep things. 

Every service offered without a pure motive is a waste. When men are dead to the flesh, the praise of men is no longer a motivating factor for his actions. 

All he does is for God to be glorified. He will never draw men to himself but to God. His motive is continuously filtered by the Holy Spirit. His Spirit gets aligned with God’s Spirit and submit totally to His authority in everything.

You can’t exalt yourself and at the same time exalt God, you can’t be conscious of self and at the same time conscious of God. One will definitely take the lead.

God can't be deceived.
