THE JOSEPH KIND OF SPIRIT BY ADEDIRE ADEKANBI

When your integrity is hinged on God and His word, it will stand the test of time. I celebrate the life of Joseph, I say thank you for holding the fort, thank you for being a channel of blessing to us today, we are drawing strength from your integrity. Your impact is generational, the life you lived speaks volume. Your life is speaking even after your death. 

You never allowed your bitter experiences to define you, you kept the picture of ‘The Place’ in your spirit. Being under unfavorable circumstances did not kill your potential, but you even saw it as an opportunity to maximize it. You were never discouraged, but an encourager to others.

You had the opportunity to get rich quickly through an unrighteous means and probably a fast escape route from slavery, but you said if it is not from God, then it is not for me. 

You had blood running through your veins, your hormones active, but you exalted God and His word above the voice of your hormones: its either you obey God or you obey God.

You finally Got to the top of the ladder of greatness, yet power did not control you, but you controlled power. You had the right to enslave your brothers and disconnect from them for life. 

You had the opportunity to revenge, but you forgave. Your pains and hurts did not take the lead, but you gave the spirit of God the room to flow. And you in turn made your brothers better persons, your forgiveness changed them forever.

Finally, you had ample opportunities to sin against God but you chose righteousness. Father, we desire this kind of spirit. Oh God, that you will release on us the Joseph’s kind of spirit.

Adedire Adegoke is an intense lover of God with a divine calling to provoke greatness out of young people to the glory of God. She's a regular speaker in Sisters' conferences and Female Special Retreats. She's a coach to young people on marriage and relationship, any time out with a young lady is golden to her. She is a practising Nursing Officer, a passionate Christian writer, Creative Video Strategist and a Blogger whose incesants writings have been changing lives of young men and women to the glory of God. Add-on to her Profession as a Nurse and Midwife, she's a great Baker with proven track records. She conveniently bakes Wedding, Birthday, Graduation and other cakes that would taste good and rich at anytime and day. Beyond being a Midwife, she's a goodwife to her husband, Tosin Adegoke. They are dedicatedly involved in the kingdom business and they are reaching thousands of youths through their monthly meetings 'School of the Spirit',- a platform raised to teach and raise spiritually inclined men and women for the fulfillment of their eternal destiny.
